This is a set of a sake bottle and sake cups for Japanese sake. It also includes a small wooden tray.
The design combines 織部 Oribe green glaze with the classic Japanese pattern of 麦藁手 mugiwara-de (wheat straw hand).
All pieces bear the artist's signature stamp, though details remain unknown.
Mugawara-de is a ceramic decoration featuring vertical stripes resembling wheat stalks, primarily fired in the Seto region (Aichi Prefecture) from the late Edo period. Its rustic yet beautiful appearance makes it popular in Japan.
The set is in excellent condition and ready to use and enjoy immediately.
