The pieces I bought are absolutely beautiful and were shipped incredibly fast, arriving just 5 or 6 days after I ordered them. They were expertly packaged with a minimum of plastic and arrived in perfect condition, and I paid no import duties. The best part was the innermost wrappings of the shoin - they were wrapped with the incredible care and aesthetic sensitivity for which the Japanese are so deservedly renowned and I had to sit with it untouched for several minutes in a state of quiet admiration before I could bring myself to remove it! Undoubtedly one of the most authentic and professional purveyors of Japanese antiques on the internet, you will be hard pressed to find a better source for your purchase.

The vintage bamboo Sudare blind exceeded my expectations. It was professionally and meticulously wrapped in such great detail. It was wrapped in Japanese silk cloth, calligraphy paper and colorful string. I was wrapped like it was my Birthday present. It arrived super fast and packed very well to prevent any damage.
