This Japanese vintage Celadon tea set includes a teapot and cups, allowing you to enjoy Japanese *sencha* right away.

It is a type of pottery known as Ohori Soma-yaki, a nationally designated traditional craft from Fukushima Prefecture with a history spanning over 300 years. Its distinctive features include a pattern of fine crackles in the glaze—known as *kannyu*—on the celadon finish, as well as a depiction of a horse.

While the hand-painted horses vary slightly, each one is dynamic and charming.

A maker's mark is inscribed on the bottom. This is an unused "deadstock" item. It comes with a wooden box, making it an excellent choice for a gift.


This is a set of tea utensils for drinking Japanese 煎茶sencha.

All are handmade and delicately crafted. They are mostly unused and in good condition.
