A round tray called as "obon" for carrying tea and sake. Made of red lacquer on wood and its bottom lacquered in black with three small legs made of walnutIts. A tray that has been used in harsh condition for many years has a unique atmosphere that cannot be replicated in everyday use, with its thin or peeled lacquer and numerous scratches. Antique sake cups and tea bowls would look great on this weathered tray.
