This very beautiful copper vase was made by 英龍 Eiryu and his signature is found at the bottom. This form is known as Boke style (Quince Flower Shape). It gets its name from the body, which is gently divided into four vertical lobes, resembling the plump bud of the flowering quince. The voluminous, low-slung girth provides a sense of stability and a low center of gravity, while the neck rises straight and slender, evoking the delicate yet powerful growth of a plant's stem.

 The deep, rich color of the body, which transitions into a beautiful gold gradient toward the top, is stunning and is sure to shine brilliantly under a spotlight.It is easy to balance even when used as a vase for a single flower, and is popular as a vase for the tea ceremony.

It comes in a wooden box signed in Kanji characters and is recommended as a gift.
