This is a pottery bell. It is also cute and unique and recommended as a Christmas ornament or New Year figurine.
In Japan, they are called earthen bells and have been loved for a long time.
It is an item painted on unglazed pottery that has been made since the Edo period (1603-1868) as a local toy, a charm against evil, or a good omen. Local toys in Japan are also traditional crafts of the region. Many of them use local products and are modeled after objects associated with religious beliefs or local animals.

These motifs are 天狗tengu. Their small size is adorable. Tengu is a legendary creature from Japanese folk beliefs, also known as a god or demon. They are characterized by their long noses. On the back side, it is written “魔除/talisman” in Kanji characters.
