Japanese vintage set of 7 seven hand paint art of animals and flowers "Shikishi" H10.6×W9.4in/H27×W24cm.

These are called 色紙 shikishi. This appellation refers to the type of paper shape.
The slightly thicker paper is decorated with drawings, calligraphy, etc. In some cases, they are used to practice drawing.
The base is brown and white paper is cut and pasted in a round shape to create a frame-like design. The motifs are diverse, including birds, cranes, dogs, plants, flowers, helmets, and hermits.
There are some age spots, small creases, and other pain.
