Japanese vintage Lacquer urushi art gold Makie flower vase made of wood with little bird and tree red leaves H11.6×4.7in/29.5cm×12cm.

This work is made by a technique called Makie, which draws a pattern using lacquer and gold based on wood.
Plants and small birds are beautifully represented by a slightly three-dimensionally raised technique.
The inside is covered with copper metal and it is possible to add water to decorate the flowers.
The grain of the wood is very beautiful.
