This is a set of tea utensils for drinking Japanese 煎茶sencha.
This set of tea utensils is for drinking Japanese sencha tea.
The pottery is beautiful with soft clay tones.
All are handmade and delicately crafted. They are mostly unused and in good condition.

萩焼 Hagiyaki is pottery made mainly in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is characterized by its simple, unadorned style, and because there is no painting, the original texture and beauty of the clay can be felt. It is also said that the more it is used, the more its color changes, and this change is also said to give a sense of wabi and sabi, making it one of the pottery loved by tea ceremony masters from long ago.
The cup is rather small, comfortable in the hand, and beautifully shaped.
The set also includes a pot and a cup for lowering the temperature of the water.
