This desk is made of black lacquer, wood, and gold. Its multi-layered, three-dimensional design is luxurious and beautiful.
It is used in Japanese temples as a pedestal for placing important scriptures and incense burners on Buddhist altars. It is slightly small in size.
We recommend using it as furniture or a pedestal rather than a Buddhist altar. It has a beautiful antique look and design.
There are some scratches and stains on the tabletop due to age.
