Japanese vintage furniture RANMA Wooden sculpture carving openwork Views of Japan castle, Pine forest, Sea, Ships W66.7in/W169.5cm.

This is part of Japanese architecture. As a fixture, it is mainly embedded as decoration above doors dividing rooms.
It is also beautiful when displayed on a wall or above a chest of drawers.

The level of skill involved in making these ranma is very high. The motifs of ranma carvings are diverse and of various levels.

This sculpture depicts a seaside scene. There is a large pine tree in the center, birds can be seen traditional buildings.
A small boat can be seen in the distance. The sculpture is also carved from the reverse side, so that the viewer can see the landscape from various angles, so that it can be enjoyed from either side. The frame is also made of beautiful wood.

This work was originally carved as a set with another work by the same artist. Both are wonderful. Other works are also included.

It is in good condition, There are dirt due to aging. If you look closely, there are some small chips and cracks, but they are barely noticeable. It looks like a temporary frame.
