Japanese vintage doll Figurine of traditional Japanese character DARUMA hand carved made of wood hand carved wooden doll H3.9×3.5in/H10×9cm.

This 達磨Daruma is hand-carved well. The name of the creator, "一心 one heart" is also engraved on the back.
The sculpture is three-dimensional and well-balanced. It is well made from various angles.

The motif "Daruma" is a Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism from India to China.
It was made by imitating the appearance of "Daruma " "座禅zazen".
"zazen" is to correct the posture by cross-legging and unite the spirit at the border of relentless dreaming.
