This is a very cool iron monkey figurine.
The monkey's expression is serious and meaningful. Overall, there is rust from age, but that also gives it a nice atmosphere.

The old monkey seems to be staring off into the distance and thinking about something, giving off the aura of a human hermit.
On the reverse side, “Huan Shui” is engraved in Chinese characters. It would make an ideal gift to celebrate longevity.

The artist is 渡邊環水Watanabe Kansui, born in 1931, learned copper casting from his father, and since 1968 has won seven prizes at prestigious exhibitions in Japan. His lively works are highly acclaimed.
