Japanese vintage 1960s pottery Monkey Shrine Dancing doll statue with Kanji signature, animal ornament hand craft For GIFT H6.1in/H15.5cm.
This is an old ceramic monkey figurine. It is humorous in the way it dances the 神楽Kagura (Shinto music and dance) dedicated at a shrine.
Holding a bell in his hand, he is a good and dynamic piece. He wears a hat called a 烏帽子 eboshi and holds a tool used in Shinto purification called GOHEI御幣 in his hand.
There is an inscription in Kanji characters on the reverse side. It is in good condition and comes in a wooden box, making it a good gift.

condition...
It is in very good condition. but there are rust and small scratches and dirt due to aging.
I list antiques that sometimes have chips, rubbings and cracks
as they are very old antiques so please check the images and understand the current
condition before buying.
