This is a small chest with six drawers. It was made in the Meiji era. It has a handle on top and a lid on the front side so it can be carried.
It is carefully crafted as an item that was used to carry herbal medicine and other medicines.
It is painted in black and reddish brown lacquer and has a cool aged look. The metal fittings are also beautiful with no chips.
There is a gap in the wood in the center of the bottom of the large drawer. Overall, it is in good condition and ready to use.

It is in good condition, but there are peeling off, stains and scratches over time. There is a gap in the wood in the center of the bottom of the large drawer. There is a natural crack in the wood on the back side, but it is not a problem for use, all drawers work smoothly. It ready to use.
