SHOGI is Japanese chess.Like GO, it ’s a very popular game in Japan.

This is a set that has everything you need to play Shogi. The board, pieces, piece stand, and piece cases are all handmade of wood.
The case has Kanji characters such as Osho. The base of the pieces is made of wood, lacquer, and small shells scattered around the base, so it shines elegantly.
This item has a cool atmosphere of aging.
The pieces are all included and ready to use.

It is in good condition, but there are stain, Scratches and peeling and dirt due to aging. There is a wobble in the piece stand.

Similar to Go,The wood used to make the board is Japanese torreya, Cinnamomum cassia, Ginkgo, Cypress.
It is very valuable because at least a hundred years old tree is needed to make a board.
