Japanese antique Pair of Red Gold lacquer MAKIE wooden sake cups with Mt.FUJI celebration design wood craft "sakazuki" for Gift 4.3in/10.8cm 1910s.

This sake cup is made of wood, lacquer and gold.
It is very thin, light and delicate. The inside of the sake cup is decorated in 蒔絵MAKIE gold with a landscape with Mt. The boat on the sea and the pine tree in the foreground are also beautiful. It is very delicately painted and shows a high level of technique.
Fuji and pine trees mean happy occasions.
The two designs are slightly different, but it is fun to see them.
These sake cups are often used at New Year's and for important celebrations such as weddings.
It is in good condition and comes in a wooden box, making it a great gift for celebrations.
