This wooden desk has been used in Japanese Buddhist temples as a desk. It is a pedestal for placing important items such as Buddhist statues and offerings.
There are no drawers, and the red lacquered board on the top can be removed. Therefore, if you want to use it in black, you can remove the top board.
The front is lavishly decorated with gold leaf.
It is also recommended for use as a platform for copying sutras or as a base.
This platform is an ideal place to display flowers or dolls.
The shape is very beautiful and delicate. The realistic gold leaf is also beautiful. The tabletop has some scratches and stains from years of use.
