Japanese antique bronze small censer incense holder with shishi lion sign ,Smoke from the lion's mouth For GIFT H3.9in/H10cm.

This is an old, smaller incense burner. A lion sits on the lid with its mouth open. Around it are relief designs that look like waves and fish. Inscribed there in English letters are the words “Made in Japan.” This item was probably made for export to foreign countries during the Meiji period.
The lion's mouth is designed to emit smoke.
There are two small holes at the bottom of one point. It is unclear what the holes are for, but if you wish to use it with ashes, please place a small underlay and put the ashes on it. There are some ash stains on the inside, but overall it is in good condition.
