Japanese antique 1900s wooden art sculpture, hand carving large fish ,IRORI JIZAI craft

This is a very large and impactful fish sculpture.
It is called a 自在 JIZAI , and is made from a large wooden hook that has been used around farmhouse hearths since around the Edo period, and a decorative wooden carp.
Aside from its original use, it can also be hung indoors for display. Although there is some wear due to age, it is in good condition, is solidly made and can be used immediately. The fish is painted with black and red lacquer.
It exudes the charm of old wood.

It is in good condition, but there are scratches and dirt due to aging. 
There is a repair mark on one part of the tail fin, but it is not noticeable unless you look closely.
