FINE! Japanese vintage ceramic BANKO kiln tea set, pot, 5cups, waste-water-container with Kanji signature SENCHA tableware Tea ceremony.

This is a set of tea utensils for drinking Japanese 煎茶sencha.
Known as 万古Banko-yaki, this type of pottery has been produced since the Edo period and has a kiln in Yokkaichi, Japan.
It has been used to make various types of pottery, although tea utensils made of reddish-brown clay with a high iron content are the most popular.
This is a set of high-grade green tea utensils made by hardening fine clay. The set includes a teapot, a tea cup, and a vessel for cooling the water. It is beautifully decorated with marks that look as if they were chiseled out of wood. All are signed in Kanji characters.
The inside of the cups are white glazed so that the color of green tea can be enjoyed.
Recent studies have shown that teapots made of this iron-rich clay make tea taste mellower and more delicious.
