FINE! Japanese antiques fine Imari porcelain plate octagon dish Dragon Indigo Blue White qilin hand painting KOIMARI EDO craft 6.4in/16.2cm.
This is a plate made in the Edo period called Koimari. It is beautifully octagonal in shape, and the hand-painted center is a giraffe, a legendary creature said to be a messenger of the gods.
Around the center, clouds are drawn by a technique called "Some-nuki," which is very beautiful. Dyeing is recommended because of its unique atmosphere. It is in good condition and can be used immediately.

condition...
It is in good condition, but there are small scratches and dirt due to aging.
I list antiques that sometimes have chips, rubbings and cracks
as they are very old antiques so please check the images and understand the current
condition before buying.
