BIG! Japanese vintage cast iron kettle Nambu Tetsubin Pine tree design metal craft, Japanese pot, tea ceremony or tableware tool H11.2×9.8in.

This is called 南部鉄器Nanbu Tekki in Japan and is made by casting iron.
This鉄瓶 tetsubin is very large and rare.
It was used to boil water in old teahouses.
This design has a pine leaf-like pattern in relief throughout.
The lid handle is a pine nut.
Rust is present as shown in the photos, but the water has been boiled many times and taken care of.
The iron kettle also serves as a natural supply of iron.
The handle is fixed.
