Japanese antique Coin pouch, Cigarette case made of leather with old coin/ EDO craft 1800s.
This is a coin pouch meticulously crafted from leather. Inside were coins used during the Edo period. It also includes one Kan'ei Tsūhō coin, a type used at that time.
Upon closer inspection, the part where the cord passes through the pouch is carefully made with indigo-dyed thread. It's a very cool item with a great aged look.
