A pair of Japanese vintage carpenter's long narrow chisels 鑿 "Nomi", used Japanese craftsman's carving tool in 1900s 9.8×1in/25x1cm
A pair of well worn long and narrow chisels by Japanese carpenter. They were made with layered steel, consisting of a softer core and a harder outer layer. This construction provides excellent edge retention and makes the chisels easier to sharpen. They have a single bevel which allows for finer cuts and a cleaner finish. There are some rust on its surface. Blade have minor chips, but they can be resharpened.
