Wall Decor Nozaki Artist Proof Signed Original Silkscreen Print 'Yellow sand dunes' Framed

Created in the 1970s by Shinjiro Nozaki, the signed artist proof is an authentic Vintage Japanese Print: a handmade silkscreen that captures the minimalist curves of Tottori Sand Dunes in mustard yellow, brown and sky-blue tones. Framed and ready to hang, the serigraph preserves the original signature and Japanese title "Sakyu," making it suitable for Mid Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern, or American vintage interiors. The print's paper, wood frame, and lacquer finish show gentle aging with small stains and marks consistent with decades-old original art. Ideal as a unique gift idea or focal Wall Art, it arrives framed and ready.

Artwork details

This original art decor is an authentic artist proof serigraph printed in the 1970s and hand-signed by Shinjiro Nozaki. The composition emphasizes pared-down curves and a restrained palette—mustard yellow dunes against sky-blue—reflecting the aesthetic that influenced modern interiors in Japan and internationally during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The subject is the Tottori Sand Dunes, presented through the simplicity of Modernist Prints and minimalist design language.

Framing & display

The piece is offered framed, classified as framed decor and ready to hang. The wood frame with lacquer finish complements the print’s warm earth tones and modernist sensibility, making it a good match for Mid Century Modern, Scandinavian, or American vintage furnishings. Because it is ready to hang, the print functions immediately as wall art and can serve as a focal point above sofas, consoles, or in gallery arrangements.

Condition & care

Listed in very good condition for its age, the print shows small stains and dirt consistent with natural aging; these details are typical for handmade silkscreen works from the era and do not detract from the overall visual impact. To care for the framed piece, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from high-humidity environments; dust the frame gently with a soft, dry cloth. No restoration or reframing has been claimed or performed.

Why collectors choose this piece

Collectors and decorators seeking signed landscape art or Original art decor find value in the combination of provenance (signed by the artist), format (artist proof), and aesthetic versatility. As a unique gift idea, the framed serigraph pairs well with minimalist home art schemes and appeals to enthusiasts of Modernist Prints and Mid Century Modern style.

Shipping & packaging

The framed print will be packaged securely to protect the paper and frame during transit. Packaging includes rigid protection around the frame and moisture-resistant wrapping to preserve the lacquer finish and paper surface. Shipping method and insurance options can be selected at checkout.
