The Imperial Lion Handles: Flanking the elegant neck are two beautifully sculpted Shishi (Imperial Guardian Lions). These detailed handles represent spiritual protection and cosmic strength. Remarkably, these lion fixtures are intricately engineered to be easily removed, showcasing the high-level ingenuity of traditional Japanese metalsmithing.
