Set of four Japanese Imari dinner plates, Meiji era, 1870s.
The design is unusual, depicting a flower and a person decorating the flower. The figure looks like a samurai. All of the plates are hand painted and have a fun atmosphere. The rim also has a petal-like design.
There is a small repair by Kintsugi.
