Large! Japanese antique bronze kettle For Tea ceremony with handle with Japanese Kanji coins design 1800s W11.8in/W30cm.
茶釜Chagama. This tea kettle is unique, unusual, and more impressive than the usual tea kettle.
This is a tea kettle that has been used by tea shops in the mountains since the late Edo period. Used and polished for many years, this tea kettle has been cherished. It has a design of a coin with old Japanese kanji written on it.
What makes it unique is that it is entirely made of copper and has a large handle. It is impressive and recommended for use in tea stands and other stores.
There is some rust on the back, but the inside is in good condition and ready to use. The handle can be removed.
