A Buddha statue made of natural stone, while keeping the natural stone alive.
There are many large Buddha images in Asia and Japan, known as 磨崖仏Magai-butsu, or Buddha images on cliffs. Although these are not as huge as those 磨崖仏Magai-butsu, we feel that they have something in common in that they find Buddha images in natural stones.
In Japan, there is a long-standing custom of finding gods and Buddha in nature and joining hands with them.
The atmosphere of natural stone and the addition of human hands to it create an exquisite beauty. Both sides and the back side of the stone are beautiful in color and shape, which have not been modified. In the center, you can see a figure peacefully clasping its hands together. If you look closely, you can see that he is standing on a lotus flower.

The stone is sandstone, but hard enough to continue carving for hundreds of years. The color is gray and light brown with orange tints in places, and turns a beautiful dark gray when wet with water.
Since the bottom is not flat, it is recommended to partially bury it in soil to keep it stable.
