This plate was on the safe box of a lumber dealer. It was made of thick and heavy brass.
This symmetric composition and motives were popular in Meiji or Taisho period (1868-1926).
The sun is rising above the sea and two dragons with balls in their hands are following.
Kanji, Chinese characters on it is a name of company, "Kobayashi shokai".
It has two holes to hold with nails.

It is in good condition, but there are small scratches and dirt due to aging.
