Japanese vintage handcraft small plate, KINTUSGI porcelain ceramic dish Blue White relief pattern flower KOIMARI 3.2in/8.5cm.

This small dish was made in the Seto region of Aichi Prefecture in the 1930s using the “陽刻 youkoku” technique.
The pattern is expressed in three-dimensional relief.
The chrysanthemum flower is expressed in relief, and is surrounded by a pattern called a thunder pattern. The indigo color is vaguely gentle, and the overall glaze is thick.
Around the cranes are detailed small patterns in indigo color.
All are handmade, and each one has a slightly different shape.
There is a gold repair on the corner.
Please enjoy the atmosphere of being used and the uniqueness of each piece.

Mame-dare (bean dish) is often used for kaiseki cuisine in Japan. For example, pickles and condiments are placed on them. Japanese cuisine has a unique custom of serving dishes of different flavors on separate plates. This allows one to directly experience the flavor of each dish and ingredient. Another interesting aspect of Japanese cuisine is the ability to add seasonings and other ingredients on the spot to personalize the dish to one's own taste.

Another use is to hold accessories. This type of dish is popular in Japan.
