This 銅鑼Dora(gong) is made of bronze.
These gongs drums are made of bronze and copper.
They are very resonant and have a nice sound.
This set also includes a stick called a bai. These sticks are made of leather, wood and lacquer.
This is a gong originally used during tea ceremonies in the tea ceremony.
It is used by the master of the tea ceremony to signal to the guests waiting in the koshikake that the tea table is ready.
Each school has its own way of sounding the gong.
It is also recommended for use in meditation, yoga, and other healing practices.
