Japanese furniture Wooden Decoration Stand KARAKI bamboo designed pedestal for bonsai, vase, censer, suiseki H12in/30.5cm
This is a very delicate pedestal made of karaki wood called as Karin, Chinese quince wood, which mainly originates from Indonesia. The material is hard and dense enough to sink in water, and has excellent durability and is resistant to insects and fungi.
This pedestal features legs and crosspieces intricately carved to mimic the natural nodes and joints of bamboo. The slightly squat bamboo creates a charming contrast with the delicate beauty of miniature bonsai trees.
A smaller one is also available and can be nested with this.
