Japanese Furniture antique Wood lattice partition 帳場格子Cho-ba koushi, wooden folding screen, old wood deco,Edo 1800s, H14.2×71.3in/H36×181cm.

This is a Japanese piece of furniture called "帳場格子Choba-goushi". It has been in use since around the end of the Edo period (1603-1868).
This is a fine vertical lattice that surrounds the three sides of a bookkeeping room (where accounts and bookkeeping are kept) in a Japanese style store or inn. In this enclosure, the master or the keeper sits at a desk and takes care of business affairs. In Buddhism, wooden fences used to separate the seats of monks and laity are called "結界kekkai.
The lattice can be folded.
It is recommended for interior decoration.

It is in good condition, but there are scratches and dirt due to aging. There is some warping of the wood, but it is within the range that is not a problem for use. One side has been lost, but is usable.
