Japanese character DARUMA small doll hand carved made of wood, vintage Ornament Figurine of traditional H3.9in/H10cm.

This 達磨Daruma is hand-carved made of wood.
The motif "Daruma" is a Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism from India to China.
It was made by imitating the appearance of "Daruma " "座禅zazen".
"zazen" is to correct the posture by cross-legging and unite the spirit at the border of relentless dreaming.
