This handmade tableware are called 織部Oribe ware.
This was made in one of the 織部Oribe kilns that have been in existence since the Edo period, started by a potter called 加藤武右衛門 Takeemon Kato. This is not an old item; it was made in the Showa period.
The bold use of clay is wonderful, and the beautiful green color makes the food look gorgeous and fresh.
It makes pasta, salad, or sushi look delicious. It is playful, with some areas intentionally unglazed. The clay on the back side will change color as it is used over the years, which is also interesting.
The interesting shape of the rough clay and the unevenness of the glaze are also made as a daring playful touch. The motif of hemp leaves is used as a small pattern in some places. Hemp leaves are believed to ward off evil. The name "hemp leaf" comes from its resemblance to the leaves of the hemp plant, a classic pattern of neatly arranged hexagons. 
Oribe ware is a tea bowl made by Furuta Oribe, a Momoyama-era warlord and disciple of Rikyu, the founder of the tea ceremony.
