Japanese antique porcelain Sake bottle vase indigo blue&white hand painting flower SOMETSUKE KOIMARI 1800s EDO craft H10.4×5.9in/H26.5×15cm.

This is a very simple old sake bottle.
It is called a tokuri and was used as a container for storing sake and other drinks. This was made in the late Edo period.
The long neck is distinctive, and the simple painting and shape are recommended for displaying it.
It can be simply displayed or can be used to display flowers.
The unglazed parts peculiar to old pottery are also interesting. There are scratches on the surface, but no major damage.
Many similar items were made until around the Taisho period (1912-1926), but this one is recognizable as an Edo period item due to its pale indigo color and overall glaze coloring and shape. Many of the darker indigo-colored items in this tokuri are from a relatively newer period.
