Japanese antique plates set of Five old Kutani ware porcelain small dishes, beautiful flowers pattern tableware with wooden box 3.7in/9.5cm.

This is a beautiful 九谷Kutani ware small dish.
It is hand painted with Heian aristocrats and flowers. The rim is also painted with a detailed pattern using gold.
The scene is probably a scene of a man composing a poem while looking at flowers by the river.
It comes in a wooden box signed in Kanji characters, making it an ideal gift. The wooden box is newer with a different period.
