Japanese antique Buddhist altar Parts pair of Small boundaries fences, antique Wood lacquer gold, furniture H3.5×W7.7in/9×19.5cm.
This is a small fence that acts like a boundary with the Buddha or God at the Buddhist altar. This is also made with the architecture of actual temples and shrines as a motif. The original use is to display them on a Shinto altar or in front of a Buddhist altar, but it is also refreshing to display them as works of art in combination with a completely different type of art.
They are all handmade and very beautifully crafted. The wooden base is coated with lacquer and real gold leaf is applied.
The openwork carvings are also beautiful.
There are some small chips and peeling due to age, but there is no major damage and it is ready to use.

condition...
It is in good condition, but there are chips ,scratches, and the edge seems to be repaired as shown in a photo.
I list antiques that sometimes have chips, rubbings and cracks
as they are very old antiques so please check the images and understand the current
condition before buying.
