Antique Bizen Ceramic Jar, Japanese Flower Vase, Wabi Sabi Decor (H11.6in/H29.5cm)

This is a very old Bizen ware vase. It is engraved with the date 1623 (Genwa 9). 
Although it is depicted as being from the 1600s, the vase appears to have been made in the 1800s, so its actual age is unknown.
It has three lugs and was originally made for practical use.
The unique distortion caused by hand-twisting and the horizontal unevenness on the surface are also attractive.
It has developed a dignified appearance with age.

It is in good condition, but there are scratches and dirt due to aging. This cannot hold water. There are some chips on the bottom, but even those are from a very long time ago so they have become familiar.
