FINE! Japanese antique bronze flower vase with birds & wave shaped legs, Japanese furniture temple style 1800s wooden box W10.4in/W26.5cm.
This is a very old copper vase. It is impressive with small birds flying in the waves.
It is very delicate and cool.
There are rusty greenish-blue tints throughout, but even these tints are beautiful accents.
This vase, called usuhata, was traditionally used in Japanese temples to display flowers or as a vase for offerings at altars.
Also, in Japanese culture, waves and clouds are formless. They are symbols of ever-changing forms and freedom.
They are often treated as symbols of freedom.
They can be decorated with flowers, but they are also cool when displayed as they are.

condition...
It is in very good condition, but there are small scratches and dirt due to aging. There is spot rust on the inside and sides. It's ready to use.
I list antiques that sometimes have chips, rubbings and cracks
as they are very old antiques so please check the images and understand the current
condition before buying.
