”GOBAN＂ is a board on which the game of go is played.
The woods used for the Go board are Abies sachalinensis, linden, ginkgo, and cypress.
To make a Go board, you need a tree that is at least 100 years old, so it is very precious.
This set is a luxury item. This is because the stones are made of natural clam shells and are set in beautiful condition. There are just a little less than 10 tiny chips, but these clam go stones are very valuable and expensive for the go stones alone. The set includes 175 white stones and 181 black stones.
There is also a set of white pieces made of high-quality clams and a set of pieces made of a natural stone called Nachiguro. The wooden board and container for the Go stones are also beautifully grained and have a luxurious feel.

It is also recommended as a low side table.
