This was cut from a huge Japanese zelkova tree, called as "Keyaki".
Nowadays, such huge trees are rare and precious in Japan.
The natural strong shape of the tree is beautiful and has a very strong presence.
Useful as a pedestal for large bonsai, pottery.

It is in good condition, but there are scratches and dirt due to aging. There are natural holes such as insect bites. It is in very good condition and has no problems with use.
