Production began around 1610.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe back is inscribed with “大明成化年製 Daiming Chenghua Nensei,” which indicates that it was made during the reign of Emperor Chenghua of the Ming Dynasty in China (1465-1487).
