Set of worn out 4 Japanese vintage carpenter's chisels 鑿 "Nomi", used Japanese craftsman's carving tool in 1900s 6.1×1.2in/15.5x3cm

Worn out 4 chisels by Japanese carpenter. They were made with layered steel, consisting of a softer core and a harder outer layer. This construction provides excellent edge retention and makes the chisels easier to sharpen. They have a single bevel which allows for finer cuts and a cleaner finish. The blade has the maker's mark. There are some rust on its surface. Blades have been sharpened out till the end. Recommended for display purpose.
