This copper vase was made in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Takaoka copperware is famous in Japan for its high technology.
This one is made of copper in the shape of a woven bamboo basket. At first glance, it looks like a basket, but it is heavy and has a stable and strong presence, making it easy to display flowers.
It is delicately crafted and beautiful.
